Self-Healing Network Router

Designed and deployed a distributed network of nodes, simulated via Docker containers, capable of independently monitoring network health with neighboring nodes.
Implemented real-time network metric collection — latency, packet loss, jitter — using custom-built probe agents instead of third-party monitoring tools.
Designed and implemented a distance-vector based routing algorithm from scratch to compute and update optimal paths between nodes based on live network conditions.
Enabled automatic failover routing so traffic reroutes through healthier paths without manual intervention when a node or link degrades beyond a defined threshold.

Codebase Health Analyzer

Built a full-stack static analysis platform that clones a GitHub repository and computes real code-quality metrics: cyclomatic complexity, duplicate-function detection via body hashing, test-file coverage, documentation coverage, and live npm audit security data.
Implemented a dependency-free JavaScript/TypeScript analyzer from scratch (brace-matching tokenizer, McCabe complexity calculator) instead of relying on an AST library, validating every metric against hand-counted test cases.
Stress-tested the analyzer against a live 140-file open-source repository (expressjs/express), uncovering and fixing a false-positive bug where control-flow statements and callback-passing calls were misidentified as function declarations, and added regression tests to prevent recurrence.
Designed the scoring system to surface an "unavailable" state rather than fabricate a score when real data (e.g. security audit) couldn't be retrieved, prioritizing metric honesty over a complete-looking dashboard.
